دُعَاءُ رَأْسِ السَّنَةِ الْهِجْرِيَّة
On the 1st of Moharram — the Islamic New Year and first day of Ashara Mubaraka
Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الأَبَدِيُّ الْقَدِيمُ الأَوَّلُ وَعَلَى فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ وَكَرَمِكَ الْجَسِيمِ اعْتَمَدْنَا وَأَنْتَ وَلِيُّنَا وَنَعِمَ الْوَكِيل
Transliteration
Allāhumma antal-abadiyyul-qadīmul-awwal, wa ʿalā faḍlikal-ʿaẓīmi wa karamikalal-jasīmi aʿtamadnā, wa anta waliyyunā wa niʿmal-wakīl
English
O Allah, You are the Eternal, the Ancient, the First. Upon Your immense grace and Your vast generosity we rely. You are our Guardian, and how excellent a Trustee You are.
