Adad

Abjad (also called hisab al-jummal) is a traditional reckoning in which each Arabic letter carries a numeric value. This calculator uses the standard Mashriqi (Eastern) values and folds hamza forms, ta marbuta (ة), and alif maqsura (ى) onto their base letters; spaces, harakat, and non-Arabic characters are ignored. It is offered for study and interest, not as a basis for any ruling.
